Senior Credit Controller

Hove, East Sussex

Permanent Hybrid (3 days home working available)

Salary Negotiable

The role would suit an experienced Credit Controller with a positive can-do-attitude who has the desire to learn, develop, and get stuck into this role.

You will be well versed in consumer credit control practises and processes, with excellent communication(both written and verbal) skills, and a high level of attention to detail.

You will be excited by the prospect of driving positive improvements within the department and hungry to progress and prove yourself.


Duties to include but not be limited to:

  • Manage the aged debt book across all regions
  • Maintain aged debt at appropriate levels
  • Actively reduce default rate
  • Liaising between with customers and third party finance providers to provide excellent service
  • Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring they are reconciled in a timely fashion
  • Cash allocation
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Daily payment run
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • Partnering the Head of Finance in driving improvements in this area of finance and enabling the company to develop and meet our growth expectations
  • Potential supervision / recruitment of Credit Control staff in the future
