Are you a Payroll advisor with an understanding of non-UK payroll? Do you enjoy working with stakeholders across the globe? Are you keen to deliver projects to deadlines, using coordination and accuracy?


Due to successful growth within AB Agri we are looking to recruit an International Payroll Advisor to play a pivotal role in providing a robust and flawless payroll service for non-UK payrolls, ensuring customer expectations are met.


What you'll be doing:


Project work

  • Working with project team to deadlines.
  • Providing information and guidance to internal and external parties.
  • Scoping out payroll details with newly acquired businesses to understand their set up and processes.
  • Supporting the International Payroll Manager with key deliverables.
  • Reporting and process mapping.

International Payroll

  • Preparation of monthly payroll instructions to third party payroll bureaus for international payrolls.
  • Perform calculations, reconciliations and monthonmonth comparison sense checks, as appropriate, to enable approval and payroll signoff.
  • Monitor changes to overseas allowances and instruct UK Payrolls as appropriate.
  • Use existing relationships with third parties or sister companies to gain an understanding of localised documentation required for different absence types e.g. maternity.
  • Collation of benefit information necessary to perform Year End Reporting as appropriate.
  • Undertake Annual Wage Supplement (AWS), month 13 payroll transactions where applicable.
  • Manage and respond to International Payroll queries.
  • Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
  • Advisor to the business on aspects of payroll related policies and procedures.
  • Support the International Payroll Manager.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports.

What you'll bring:


  • Flexible and able to manage priorities, resolve problems and escalate issues within a fastpaced environment.
  • Sound uptodate knowledge of nonUK payrolls.
  • Awareness of time zones and their implications within a payroll cycle.
  • Experience of working with third party nonUK Payroll Bureaus.
  • Experience working to deadlines by prioritising effectively.
  • Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience of computerised payroll systems in particular SAP and/or Success Factors Payroll.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues,.
  • Cultural awareness and timezone consideration
