Position Summary and Responsibilities:


To deliver a professional and customer focused service desk for all facilities management services for the site, priorities will be to receive, log, report and allocate the appropriate response to all reactive and pro-active requests for services in line with the agreed service performance requirements.

Core hours for this role will be 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 16:30 Friday.


Role and responsibilities

  • Raising of purchase requisitions and managing invoices
  • Support to our onsite engineers with time sheets and workorders via SAP
  • Managing the contractor visit process
  • Health and safety inductions for contractors
  • Onsite contractor contract and support
  • Ordering, invoice and purchase requisiton administration for gasses

Qualifications:


Experience

  • Very proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Experience of a similar facilities customer facing role in a mediumsized business.
  • Welldeveloped communication skills enabling the individual to work with Senior Managers, clients, suppliers, and staff of all levels and abilities.
  • Project management experience desirable, but not essential

Communication.- Must be detail conscious, accurate and methodical in approach.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work systematically and use own initiative.
  • Able to work on more than one task at any given time.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Character

  • Must demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and promote a sense of team spirit and good morale within the office.
  • Reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements.
  • Calm manner able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities.
  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required.
