Claims Supply Chain Executive - Glasgow, United Kingdom - AXA UK

About the role:
It's an exciting time at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes.
As Claims Supply Chain Executive, you'll be responsible for the performance management of all allocated claims suppliers to ensure delivery of agreed service targets within Operational areas.
At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home or if in a field based role, you'll travel to visit offices or client sites as required.
What you'll be doing:
- Become a Claims Supply Chain expert acting as the conduit between Supply Chain, Operations and suppliers.
- Collect business requirements in relation to service expectations from suppliers.
- Set up and conduct reviews with suppliers, targeting any service issues and documenting agreed actions.
- Act as the escalation point for operational queries relating to suppliers' service delivery.
- Work with the Supply Chain Manager to share performance data and support supplier development strategies.
- Take responsibility for onboarding new suppliers. Including the communications plan, access to systems and access to appropriate guidance.
- Support the development of supplier relationships by ensuring on time payments and mitigate late payments.
- Develop and monitor feedback mechanisms to assist in assessing supplier performance.
- Benchmark and analyse supplier performance to encourage continuous improvement.
About you:
What we're looking for:
- ACII and/or equivalent business degree qualification.
- Previous experience within the Claims function is preferable.
- Knowledge of the supply market and claims processes, Motor Claims preferable.
- Ability to influence people and situations in order to achieve optimum results.
- Working knowledge of business strategy and operational business plans.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Great networking skills.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
