Hybrid working: 2-3 days office, 2-3 days WFH

The role is responsible for the day to day running finance function, ensuring tight financial control is maintained at all times.

Working with internal and external stakeholders, reporting directly into the Finance Director.

The business is currently entering a new phase of growth and development and requires an experienced financial professional to lead the finance department, whilst also working with the leadership team to deliver the strategic plan.

Role responsibilities

Build financial controls and processes to safeguard assets and maximise profit.
Ensuring timely and accurate production of monthly Management information and KPs, analysing and reporting on performance.
Providing detailed analysis of P&L performance and driving improvement through the operations team, identifying revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities
Management of annual Budget and regular reforecast processes
Production of annual Consolidated Financial Statements, liaising closely with the auditors.
Leading a team of
Qualified accountant /ACMA/ACCA/ACA
Solid management and financial accounting skills
Strong Excel skills
Ability to work independently, working proactively and taking initiative to achieve desired results
Excellent written and oral communication skills (including presentation experience to key stakeholders)
