Press Setter & FLT Driver role

Role Requirements

  • GCSE Mathematics and English plus supporting GCSE Achievements
  • A Toolmaking/Toolsetters/Engineering Qualification
  • Counterbalance FLT Drivers licence
  • Appropriate ROSPA or PUWER 98 Certification
  • Must have experience of working in manufacturing to set and fix specific tools to the press machine to allow the machine to create car parts.

Role description & responsibilities

Role Responsibilities:


  • To ensure all quality requirements, procedures and directives are understood and implemented by yourself and your operators.
  • To ensure operatives are correctly instructed in what is expected from them in terms of production and quality requirements and operational procedures and safety in conformance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • To maintain, through continued vigilance and observation, that all facilities are operating correctly and components produced conform to specification in all respects.
