The role:

We are looking for a Lunchtime supervisor to work Monday to Friday from 11.15am until 3pm. The pay is £10 per hour.


Overall Responsibility:

To ensure the serving and cleaning up after lunch goes smoothly and to help with the children once cleaning duties are completed.

Main Duties:

Follow food hygiene standards whilst serving the lunch and pudding for the children.

To help with preparations for lunches; sit with small group of children providing support; help with transferring children around the site.

To follow all necessary procedures when taking care of younger children during rest times.

To advise the manager of any concerns e.g. safe or the safety of equipment and to take initiative when appropriate.

To be aware of any special educational needs a child may have and to familiarise oneself with relevant individual education plans including allergies.

Supporting pupils while they eat their lunch and making sure tables are clean and that water is available. Set up and clear away the lunchtime area before and after lunchtime period.

Ensure standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained.

Report accidents and complete accident form if necessary.

Supporting the staff team whilst other staff are on their lunch breaks.
