2020 Recruitment are working with a Fife based engineering client who are looking to add a Process Operator to their team.

This is a temporary contract to begin with but will be made permanent after a probationary period.


Based in the Ladybank area it is essential that you have your own transport in order to reach the facility.


The Role
As the Process Operator you will be responsible for the service and operate any processes within the company. Working Monday to Thursday 10 hour shifts.


Duties & Responsibilities
As the Process Operator your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently operate all processes within section. Understand targets and report to Technician level any issues effecting achievement of these.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality checks.
  • Be aware of all part quality requirements and if standards are not being met or are unachievable, stop process and report to Technician level.
  • Ensure all process documentation is strictly adhered to.
  • Be aware of British Standard (BSI)
Quality Management System requirements.


ISO 9001:
201- Show control of all tooling within section and report any exceptional usage to Technician level. Ensure tooling is changed at prescribed times.

  • Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the management of the Company.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Process Operator role you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Understanding of the manufacturing industry
  • Experience of working with machinery (CNC, lathes, grinders etc)
  • Ability to identify quality errors
  • Health and safety aware
  • Own transport due to location

Package
As the Process Operator you will be offered the following package:

  • Hourly rate dependent on experience (£11ph minimum)
  • Temp to perm contract
