Chase & Holland are excited to be exclusively partnering with one of the UKs largest within their sector, PE backed companies to recruit a hands-on Head of Finance due to rapid growth.
This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of the management team, playing a pivotal role in the next phase of growth for the business as it works to implement a recently set five-year strategic plan.
As Head of Finance, you will take responsibility for the finance function, providing meaningful commercial insight and challenge to improve business performance.
You will have a broad financial experience, not just compliance activities but also demonstratable ability to add value to the bottom line and improve operational activities.

Key Head of Finance Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing the longterm strategy and business plan
- Improve variance and MI reporting
- Monthly Board Meeting attendance to provide input on the financial performance of the business and progress against Strategic Objectives
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place to provide appropriate governance within the business
- Capex management
- Produce management information, including monthly management accounts, board pack and other KPI information as required
- Lead the finance team in the preparation of annual statutory accounts for audit, produce quarterly VAT returns etc
- Main point of contact for external stakeholders including banks, auditors and HMRC
- Management and development of a small team
Required Skills & Experience:
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA although strong QBE will be considered
- Strong experience within a similar senior role with broad financial experience
- Continuous improvement mentality and ability to drive change, working with the wider business
- Ability to engage and influence at all levels
- A thorough understanding of financial accounts and good communication skills are essential
- Advanced Excel and IT skills
