Are you a Learning Mentor looking for a new role in Wandsworth?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a SEN School based in Wandsworth starting immediately.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year with a potential to go permanent upon review.

The daily rate for the position will be between £80 to £100 dependant on experience.

The School:

The SEN school is 'Good' Ofsted rated providing education for students aged between 11 to 18 years old from Year 7 up to 6th Form.

The student's needs include moderate learning difficulties but some students may possess additional needs. There are over 200 students within the school with all holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible by public transport and has free parking on site and on local roads.

The Position:

You will be working as a Learning Mentor across KS3 based in a Year 9 class supporting a student on a 1:1 basis with Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

You will be required to assist the students learning within the classroom while also mentoring the student outside the classroom on both an academic and social level.

You will be required to plan and deliver high quality sessions on a 1:1 basis.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
