Description
- _Manage the Accounts Payables team for both finance task performance and all aspects of general staff management. _
- _Provide support, mentoring and coaching to establish a high-morale culture and enable staff to fulfil all responsibilities effectively and accurately. _
- _Monitor, identify and address training needs and hold appraisal reviews according to company procedures. _

  • Coordinate staff holidays and other absences, ensuring all are recorded and processed correctly.
- _Oversee all daily Accounts Payables tasks including the Balancing Settlement Plan (BSP), ensuring BSP payments are reconciled and allocated bi-weekly, and BSP interfaces are run on a timely basis. _
- _Prepare and process weekly BACS /Online Banking payments, bank transfers and foreign currency. _
- _Complete Company Lodge Card uploads and settlements, and AirPlus credit card processes. _
- _Download, invoice and reconcile Company Credit Card Statements to ensure all are settled correctly. _
- _Allocate supplier payments and make accurate settlement of supplier invoices. _
- _Handle Intercompany accounts_, _overheads invoice payments and internal expense claim processes. _
- _Check accuracy of raised invoices, client credit card charges and payment entries inputted in accounting systems. _
- _Review the Company creditor ledger to assess any presenting opportunity or risk and action accordingly. _
- _Provide reports as required, including reporting on agent errors for operational management. _
- _Liaise with Independent Contractors (ICs) to confirm all related accounting processes are completed appropriately. _
- _Review departmental staff resourcing and actively participate with recruitment activities alongside the Group Reporting Manager. _


Profile

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Intermediate or higher level Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Working knowledge of TravCom or other finance travel packages
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal required.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
