Description

Commencing Salary is £9.77 per hour. Further rate of pay progression available with training.

Hours of Work:

Weekly rotating shift pattern:
-
Morning Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday with a 30-minute paid break

Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm to Midnight Monday to Thursday with a 40-minute paid break

Main Purpose:

To perform a variety of operational functions that constitutes the production, inspection and material handling in producing final packaging solutions to the required standards and specifications using appropriate machinery and equipment.

Scope of the role:

Operate all equipment safely and effectively in line with operating procedures.
Reporting of equipment defects as soon as possible, and anything that may prohibit duties being carried out.
Capture and record all necessary data accurately.
Complying with company policies, procedures, work instructions and safe operating procedures for Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, HR and others Company policies/procedures.
Reporting accidents, near misses, hazards and other health and safety matters in a timely manner.
To work effectively, courteously and build good relationships with production team members and other personnel.
Ensuring positive interactions with all site visitors.
Maintain good housekeeping to a safe and high standard.
Ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
Conduct thorough inspections of equipment as instructed.
To identify opportunities for improvement.
Undertake training as required and provided by the company.
To be flexible at all times and rotate between tasks according to business requirements.
