We are currently on the lookout for a positive and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Health Care Assistant.
The job title requires someone who is passionate about caring for people.They also need to have a genuine drive to manage a care team responsible for those using our services, including our residents, their families and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Escort clients to appointments or outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting and transferring clients
- Knowledge of basic first aid
