  • The Accessible Homes Agency is a busy team delivering Major and Minor Adaptations to our customers in Calderdale. These works include showers, ramps, alterations and improvements and other small works that are designed and installed to allow our customers to live safely and comfortably in their our homes. We have an emphasis on ensuring the adaptations provided are of a high quality and delivered on time.
  • In order to ensure our service is delivered efficiently and promptly we are looking to recruit a Technical Officer to help deliver adaptations throughout the borough.
    What are we looking for?
  • You have experience of working on domestic properties with some construction related experience to help deliver these works.
  • You have a good working knowledge of IT systems and able to prepare schedules of rates and specifications.
  • You have the ability to provide technical advice and guidance to clients, Occupational Therapists, Landlords, property owners, and other members of staff.
  • You hold a current UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for work purposes.
  • You can work flexibly with a willingness to do evening and weekend work if needed.
  • You have an understanding of Health & Safety Regulations, Building/Planning requirements and other relevant legislation.
  • You are passionate about providing excellent customer service.
