Senior Actuarial Analyst

Specialty (Re)insurer - City of London

£50,000 - £70,000

A well-established specialty (re)insurer is seeking a senior actuarial analyst to join their actuarial team, based in the City of London.

Any exam progression through the IFoA exams.
A analytical degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in Excel is essential.
Experience in R, Python, VBA and Microsoft Access is desirable.
A high level of understanding of modern actuarial and statistical modelling and techniques is required.

Responsibilities:

A flair for manipulating and interpreting data and making decisions and recommendations when appropriate is essential.
Ability to support other members of the team and foster strong working relationships.
Utilise knowledge of the market to successfully adapt actuarial techniques in order to achieve business targets.
Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
Supervision of junior analysts in the team.
