Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience within administration or finance? We have an great opportunity to join us as a Finance Administrator

Location:
Itad, Hove. Please note this is a hybrid role where we anticipate you would spend 2 days a week in our office working alongside the Finance Team


Contract:
Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9-5 Monday to Friday


Salary:
The salary for this role is between £24.7k - circa £26k depending on your skills and experience

The Role


As a Finance Administrator you will play a key role within our Finance Team providing business support and technical expertise to internal customers.


You will assist the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and aid in decision making to support future growth.

Your role will be to support, create and maintain accurate records whilst ensuring accurate reconciliation of the cashbook and bank accounts on our finance system.

You will process high volumes of purchase invoices and use accurate information to meet deadlines, especially around month end and reporting deadlines.

A typical day would include;

  • Ensuring accurate processing of data and expenses
  • Assisting in the maintenance of financial information
  • Attention to detail to maintain financial records and information
  • Invoicing, processing employee expenses and external payments
  • Timesheet reporting
  • Managing the accounts mailbox to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Working collaboratively with the wider company to promote best practice

  • Experience of working with Microsoft Excel and other internal accounting systems (exposure to Navision and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided)
  • Confidence in Maths skills
  • Experience in assisting with the daily processing of the sale ledger and/or credit control processes (desirable)
