E-commerce Marketing Trader

Salary:
Up to £25,000 DOE + Bonus

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-commerce Marketing Trader to join our team.

You will play a pivotal part in contributing to and executing the commercial and trading plans for your assigned product categories.

Taking ownership of the on-site customer journey, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the product category, customers, and markets.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Contribute to and execute commercial and trading plans for the product categories.
  • Develop and deliver pricing strategies for the category in collaboration with the buying team.
  • Set targets and collaborate with the paid media team to optimise spend and increase profitability.
  • Work crossfunctionally to lead category planning processes.
  • Collaborate with Buying, CRM, Traffic, and Creative departments to deliver category plans.
  • Focus on category performance and use tools to optimize the endtoend shopping experience.
  • Improve the conversion funnel and drive key ecommerce KPIs.
  • Identify and drive new initiatives and opportunities for category growth.
  • Use insight and experience to improve the customer journey.
  • Manage category hierarchies, navigation, and product attributes to increase conversions and basket value.
  • Identify opportunities for promotions, personalisation, and product recommendations.
  • Work with retention teams and contribute to CRO and Development roadmap.
  • Develop content plans, buying guides, and other assets to drive conversions and revenue.
  • Work with commercial to create and deliver sellout plans, including promotional plans.

What You Need:


  • Previous experience in a highly commercial ecommerce role, preferably within retail.
  • Knowledge and experience of ecommerce principles and technology.
  • Handson experience in improving the customer journey.
  • Experience in gaining sufficient knowledge about products to guide the customer journey.
  • Experience working with paid media and other marketing teams.
  • Experience using analytical tools to interpret data for making commercial decisions and driving performance.

You may have worked previously as a: Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator, E-commerce Specialist, Content Marketing Specialist or similar.


This role requires a versatile individual with a blend of e-commerce expertise, analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to drive category growth and enhance the customer experience.
