Duties for the Home Manager include:

  • Take responsibility for the care and well being of all residents delivering the best standards of care possible
  • Leading, motivating and developing the team to deliver the best care
  • Strong leadership ensuring safe and efficient running of the home
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all policies and procedures
  • Day to day running of the home
  • Ensure Care Plans are developed in collaboration with Service Users, their family, and friends (where appropriate) and members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop staff to full potential ensuring succession planning

Requirements for the Home Manager include:

  • Valid Pin
  • 2 years Home Manager experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Dedicated to person centred care
