Teaching Assistant

Tradewind recruitment are working in partnership with a Secondary Special school located in the London brough of Hillingdon to recruit a teaching assistant.

The special school is a secondary age group from KS3 to KS5 and is a provision for children withmild or moderate and multiple learning difficulties; many of the children also have profiles within the autistic spectrum.

Classes are organised by age, need and learning style basis.

Be a reflective and responsive teaching assistant who is committed to working with children, their families, and the community
Be able to work in partnership with professionals from education, health, and care to ensure high quality provision for these children
Be committed to supporting areas of the curriculum development and school approaches, undertaking training as appropriate
Be always confident in the support of young children's welfare, with medical intervention required

Tradewind recruitment is committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will need a fully enhanced, child DBS, proof of right to work and two suitable references.
