Mersey Medical Services ltd is one of the northwest's premier suppliers of ambulances and medical staff to both private clients and the NHS alike, with many blue-chip, household names as clients we need to ensure our back office is as good as our frontline staff

This new exciting role is for a Support Team Assistant based out of base in Irlam, Eccles, and is covering shifts covering five days a week over a seven-day period, flexible hours to suit both parties during core business hours between 08:00 to 20:00 at forty hours per week (flexible rota)

The Support Team Assistant will act as the main support to our Support Team Coordinator, while the duties may change dependant on the needs of the business, in general this includes day-to-day office administration support, answering phone calls, appointing staff to shifts, managing staff holidays and more


Main duties will include:


  • Providing administrative support to ensure efficient operations in office
  • Managing online job system
  • Inputting of data from fulltime rotas onto job signup system
  • Managing WhatsApp Messages
  • Performing and checking DBS Checks on new and current staff
  • Managing signups, ensuring all shifts are covered with sufficient and compliant staff.
  • Managing fulltime staff Holidays and processing paperwork
  • Answering general enquiries line and dealing with enquiries
  • Onboarding of new staff
  • Data entry

  • Reliable and responsible as will be the face of the company for new staff and visitors to our base

Required skills:


  • MS Office certification in Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook to an intermediate level
  • Full clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year
  • Experience in staffing and resourcing


The successful applicant should be computer literate and be able to competently use Microsoft systems, training on Mersey Medical Services Ltd.
