Streamline Search - Our client is a fully multi modal Freight Forwarder looking for an Import Operator to join their operation from the Basildon Office.

They over Import/Export, Container and Special project shipping. They operate in the global markets withefficiency and professionalism.


Import Operator - Position Overview

  • Working within a team
  • FCL and LCL shipments from start to finish (minus customs)
  • Arranging deliveries & Bookings
  • Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
  • Arranging movement of freight from origin to destination, both international and national.
  • Liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers.

Import Operator - Position Requirements

  • An understanding of road freight and ocean export an advantage but not essential.
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team and be selfsufficient.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable to work within deadlines in a timely manner.

Import Operator - Position Remuneration

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am 17:00pm
  • Salary £25,000 to £29,000
