Womenswear Designer
We are a Leicester based company, looking for a charismatic and outgoing experienced Graphic Designer.

You will possess strong creative flair and have a passion for fashion with a desire to join our existing team of 3 other graphic designers.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would love to contribute their experience, skills and knowledge to become part of an ambitious business that works with some of the most reputable brands in the fashion industry, including; The Boohoo Group, Selfridges, The Very Group, Disney, Warner Brothers and the world's largest Record Labels.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Creating designs for apparel and merchandise inline with creative guidelines
• Working on new designs to suit customers' requirements, brief and budget
• Establishing close working relationships with licence holders
• Working collaboratively with the creative team on a range of projects
• Colour proof, retouch and set up artwork for Screen, DTG and Sublimation print.
• Liaising with external and internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
• Offering new and exciting creative ideas for development and presenting these to the creative team.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment to take advantage of social trends, bringing your expertise to the table. Keeping up with current new and emerging trends
• Work closely with account managers
• Have a keen eye for detail
• A positive and uplifting can do attitude, a great sense of humour and engaging people skills

Essential Skills:

• 12 years' experience within a creative or fashion industry focussed environment, would be advantageous
• A lean towards womenswear design is preferred, with the intended accounts in mind.
• An understanding of apparel printing and the design requirements would also be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator).
• Proficient in using MAC for designing.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• A degree or college level education in Graphic Design or relevant experience.
• Evidence of your portfolio or design style would be helpful but is not essential.

Hours: 40 per week


Salary:
£24, ,000pa, (depending on experience)
