Multi-Trade Operative
Leeds - covering West Yorkshire and surrounding area
£33,702 - £35,476 per year
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 16:30pm plus call out duties on a rota basis
We have an opportunity for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our day to day responsive maintenance team, based in Leeds.
We are looking for someone with skills in plumbing and some skills in joinery, kitchen installation, window and door fitting and general property maintenance.
The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and power tools included the role will cover West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:
- Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
- Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
- Experience with remedial plumbing repairs and installations. Social housing experience desirable_._ _Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise work loads, work to deadlines and plan ahead
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
