Senior Advice Services Consultant - Temp to Perm


Due to expansion and growth we have a brand new and exciting opportunity to join our Business Services and Advice Team.

On an initial 9-month contract with a possibility to become permanent. You will be responsible for carrying out reviews of St. James's Place Advice Services to meet our Consumer Duty requirements.

Working closely with the Product and Fund workstreams, you will raise concerns with the Heads of Advice Policy (for Pensions and Non-Pensions) and collaborate with key team members to ensure agreed actions are completed and implemented.


Who are we looking for:

An organised and methodical approach to work, excellent relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to challenge. A curios and inquisitive mind with a passion for providing excellent outcomes


Responsibilities:


  • Organise the advice services review workshop, summarise our outcomes to the Advice Committee who can agree the actions and priorities
  • Maintain and handle the Management Information (MI) dashboard and reporting that feeds into the Advice Committee
  • Write advice service reports which aids the annual board report
  • Coordinate the advice issues raised and ensure sufficient evidence is documented to meet regulatory expectations
  • Lead the development of the Route Cause Analysis (RCA) plan, setting out an appropriate programme of riskbased RCA reviews to Advice Committee and Risk Oversight Group for approval.
  • Lead the design and delivery of effective RCA reviews to analyse advice areas
  • Coordinating with key partners to identify root causes of client outcomes
  • Deliver the RCA plan on time and to a high standard.
  • Represent Advice Policy on relevant committees and steering groups as required to share findings from each RCA appropriately, including Distribution Risk and Vulnerable clients.

Special Requirements:


  • Qualified to a minimum CII Diploma is desirable
  • Demonstrable knowledge and/or experience in Consumer Duty will hold a distinct advantage
  • Experience in Route Cause Analysis within Financial Services is also desirable
