THE COMPANY:

Our client is a well-developed law company that is based in London, Colchester, Leeds, and Birmingham.

They have been running for over 150 years and are currently looking for a new Paralegal to join their clinical negligence team.

THE ROLE:

Some responsibilities you may have but are not limited to are:

Assisting the solicitors in your team with specific tasks allocated on their files and providing them with progress reports
Speaking with new and existing clients
General administration roles to assist the smooth running of the department
Following department procedures, the solicitors accounts rules and the firms' policies and procedures
Meeting reasonable targets and deadlines on individual files and those set by Fee Earners

THE PERSON:

At least one year's previous experience within Clinical Negligence
Excellent drafting skills
Ability to conduct legal research effectively
Ability to work with limited supervision
2:1 degree or equivalent in Law
Being confident when dealing with people at all levels
Be professional at all times
