The paediatric and adolescent psychological service at University College Hospitals is looking for a highly motivated assistant psychologist to join the team.

Previous experience and an interest in working with children, young people and families is essential.

The main purpose of this role is to provide neuropsychological assessments with children and young people receiving proton beam radiotherapy.

You will be part of a lively and experienced team.

The post holder will have an opportunity to utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team.


The post holder will be part of the general psychological service and will be supervised by a member of the clinical psychology team.

They will be responsible to the clinical lead for psychological services


On the UCLH site, there are acute and general paediatric services to the district in addition to specialist children's and adolescent services (including adolescent medicine and cancer).

This post is part of the multi-disciplinary child and adolescent psychological service.

The post holder will contribute to the systemic consultation service and a range of psychological therapies for in-patients and out-patients at UCH.
