About this job:


  • We are recruiting to a new Environmental Protection team. There are four environmental protection officers roles who will carry out general environmental protection duties including responding to planning consultations.
We are looking for each of the officers to have specialist knowledge in and take the lead for one of the following service areas:

  • Air Quality Monitoring and Management
  • Contaminated Land
  • Licensing Consultations (noise)
  • Construction noise (s.61s) from building and transport related developments.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent communications skills in providing a customer focused service in a professional manner and able to provide technical advice to a range of stakeholders.

You will be a flexible, creative and enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach.
