Junior Buyer


Our client, a leading employer in their sector, are in search of a
Junior Buyer to join their well-established team.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Researching, selecting, and purchasing quality products and materials
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best pricing.
  • Monitoring market demand and supply for products
  • Communicate with production manager about their requirements
  • Develop and grow a good network of suppliers
  • Estimating future buying needs for the company
  • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders
  • Checking and verifying all the required specifications of products
  • Submitting reports to management
  • Monitoring stock levels and adjust accordingly
  • Relevant 3rd Level Education
  • Analytical ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
