Description

The post holder will be responsible for the development of the highest standards of Clinical Tissue Viability/Leg Ulcer nursing practice within West Essex.

The role will be to empower all grades of clinical staff to competently assess and manage all types of wounds of varying complexities.

The post holder will assist with the daily running of the Tissue Viability/Leg Ulcer Service in the delivery of a high quality clinical service within Private Nursing Homes and NHS Provider Units.

The post holder will work in collaboration with the Integrated Care System to produce wound care pathways and a wound product formulary.

The post holder will provide professional advice, support and education to the multi professional team, patients and carers based on NICE Guidelines, the East of England and Midlands Pressure Ulcer Ambition and best practice recommendations in relation to wound management and Leg Ulcer strategies **.
