Description

Manor Grange Care Home is looking to recruit a Maintenance Assistant to join our luxury, purpose-built care home.

Our care home is situated in the charming setting of Pinkhill, providing excellent residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care for up to 83-residents.

You will support the Maintenance Manager to ensure the building and equipment is maintained to a high standard, whilst keeping our residents and staff safe and comfortable.

Maintenance Assistant Contract
- £12.50 per hour

Contracted to 22.5 hours per week
5.6 weeks annual leave
Pension
Onsite parking
Paid PVG
Uniform provided

Your Main Duties Will Include

Perform minor repairs
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Install appliances and equipment
Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces
Participate in different projects (e.g. renovations)
Report into Maintenance Manager for issues
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
