Kitchen assistant required to work with the chef on weekends.

The kitchen needs to be covered 8-6 every weekend and we welcome applicants who can work every weekend sharing the following shifts:
8-2 and 2-6 saturdays and sundays as a job share or 8-6 as a single applicant.

This role will suit either one part time role or could be shared by two part time applicants as a Saturday/Sunday job.

The role involves supporting the chef with the delivery of breakfast for 20 vulnerable residents, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, assisting with the preparation of food and drinks for lunch and supper, tea rounds, washing up and making visitors feel welcome by offering refreshments.

Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.

Rates of pay will vary depending on the applicant and are above national minimum wage.

The hours are 8am - 6pm with the chef present up until 2pm.
