Compliance/HSQ Officer
£ £33000 per annum

Compliance Officers/ HSQ Officers required for a leading plastic and rubber products manufacturing organization based in Alton.

The position is a 'Compliance Officer' role within the Production areas of the business & supporting the QA and H&S Manager.

Shift Timings
8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday

Location

Maidenhead

Responsibilities:

Carry out Internal Audits (ISO9001 & H&S, etc.) & Site inspections.
Assisting with customer queries according Reach, RoHS, Conflict Minerals etc. for customers and maintaining documentation
Help to generate general and specific Risk Assessments (Compliance, FMEA, COSHH, DSEAR, Manual Handling, PUWER etc.)
Tracking of actions on the action register & sent out reminder.
Provide training and guidance to personnel. Here in particular H&S Inductions for new employees.
Assists investigating internal complaints, customer nonconformities & accidents.
Review existing safe systems of work and risk assessments.
Support creation of Standardized / Safe Operating Procedures etc

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field;
Experience in working in a Manufacturing / Engineering environment;
NEBOSH Certification or other accredited qualification;
Internal auditor qualification in one field ISO 9001 or ISO 45001 or ISO 14001;
HND/HNC or degree qualification;
