Our client is looking for an Business Development Executive to join their fantastic New Business sales team based at their Newcastle or Stockton HQ

In this forward-facing lead generation role, you will work at the very start of the sales process, arguably the most important part of the journey Proactively, you will be looking at ways to inform, educate and persuade prospective online retail clientsto consider the company as an eCommerce growth partner of choice for their business.

You will be responsible for qualifying, developing and nurturing new business sales opportunities with potential eCommerce clients.


Business Development Executive Duties:


  • Identify key strategic prospects for Visualsoft to partner with.
  • Research the prospect to have relevant and meaningful conversations with them.
  • Master telephone discovery conversations with prospects.
  • Nurture and develop relationships with prospects until a time that is live opportunity is identified.
  • Use industry knowledge to spot and maximise any opportunity to bring on new business.
  • Work to targets and set KPIs on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Work with the wider Sales Team including BDMs to help achieve the overall Sales Team target
  • Hit the monthly target for new leads generated for the BDMs to work to convert to new business.
  • Be a point of contact for the new business team with regard to new client pitches and tender processes.

The role has a few prerequisites, but you don't need to meet them all to apply, and they provide full training and support throughout

  • Experience in outbound sales
  • A proven track record of achieving individual and team targets
  • Real attention to detail for accurate notetaking and record keeping
  • Positive attitude with the ability to stay focussed under pressure
  • Selfmotivated and highly resilient.
  • Keen to learn and to be coached.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong workload management and prioritisation skills
  • Well presented, wellspoken, articulate and professional
  • A proven team player
  • Commutable distance of their Stockton or Newcastle site

Desirable:


  • A knowledge or appreciation of eCommerce.
  • Previous experience in using a CRM system such as Hubspot.
