Wade Macdonald is currently partnering with a highly established, large and growing organisation based in Reading who are seeking to recruit a Commercial Accountant / Analyst in the team.

The role would suit someone who is part-qualified (and studying towardsACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experience.

The role will focus on completing reporting, management, and collection of purchasing income across the group, engaging with suppliers and internal purchasing managers to maximise commercial opportunities in additionto developing internal reporting.

About the role - Key Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of the supplier contract terms in order to maximise income streams collection
Completing monthly management information for all companies
Preparing billing and supporting information for suppliers
Preparing of internal financial reporting and analysis for stakeholders
Assisting in improving financial controls within the function
Reconciling and management of the balance sheet
Working alongside the Commercial Manager in producing analysis in income variances to forecast & budget
Using data visualisation tools to enable visibility for key stakeholders across the business
Playing an active role in the development of supply chain financial processes, systems, and reporting tools

What you will need to be successful:

Good Excel skills
comfortable with big data sets (doing pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
Selfstarter with an enquiring and proactive approach to work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable with liaising at all levels
Ability to develop and produce insight using accurate management information
Part qualified with a commitment to completing ACCA/ CIMA or qualified by experience
