Human Factors Engineer - £85 per hour inside ir months (extension highly likely) - Stevenage or Bristol - Hybrid (2 days onsite a week) - 1 stage virtual interview - SC clearance required - Sector: Aerospace & Defence
Yolk Recruitment are searching for a Human Factors Engineer to work with a world leading aerospace and defence company.

This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a full range of Human Factors tasks across defence system concepting, development and research activities.

Responsibilities:

Carry out Human Factors Integration through the development lifecycle.
Development of User Interface prototypes and conduct of Human Centred Design.
Evaluation of the role of the operator within the defence system considering system planning, command and control
Definition of HF requirements and development and maintenance of lowerlevel detailed specifications (e.g. for HMI/HCI)
Carry out User Experiments and Trials supporting system conception, development, and verification.

Key Skills / Experience:

Member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF)
Hold a current SC clearance
User Interface design & use of User Interface prototyping tools such as Axure
Implementing Human Centred Design processes
Knowledge of defence standards
Conduct of core HF activities including task analysis, requirements development, user trials and Experimentation.
Application of physical ergonomics and use of CAD software such as Jack
Good understanding of Systems Engineering and disciplines that interact with Human Factors
