Belfast

Highly Competitive Salary and up to 20% Bonus

A position has become available for one of our clients in Belfast, they are an award-winning manufacturer, specialising in residential ventilation systems.

Due to their growth this year they are looking to hire a
Mechanical Estimator.
This position is full-time permanent, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm. and then Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm, Pension, 20% Bonus Scheme, 30 Days Holidays.

Day to Day:

Deliver high quality working drawings for Mechanical Ventilation systems.
Develop designs for both small, and largescale projects.
Review and evaluate tender specification documents to ascertain project requirements.
Produce takeoffs from selfgenerated and consultant issued project design drawings.
Provide compliant, accurate and competitive quotations to the Sales Team.
Identify value engineering opportunities within a project.
Liaise with the Sales Teams, Consultants and Contractors whenever necessary.
Assist customers directly with product and design enquiries.

Experience & Qualifications:

Experience in Estimation, takeoffs and providing project tenders.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft packages.
Technical proficiency within the Mechanical Building Services / HVAC industry.
Experience of working within the residential construction / architecture sector.
Confident communication skills, selfmotivated with a strong attention to detail.
