Bartender and Server server needed for gastropub.

About us:
Pear&Olive Scratch Kitchen is a privately owned Chef lead restaurant/gastropub with B&B. We are friendly and customer serviced oriented, located near Great Abbington/Balsham in a small village. There is a direct bus stop 100 yards from the restaurant.

We are looking for an experienced bartender (specifically wine knowledge) and an experienced server who can demonstrate a warm, confident, knowledgeable personality with customers.

Applicants with experience in serving food and drink in restaurants or pubs required for the position.

You will need a flexible attitude, and a very warm and welcoming personality.

The role is suited for a take charge person, who may want to grow the position into a fuller time managerial role and run the bar/restaurant B&B as their own.

This is a busy role on a small team, flexibility in shift schedules is needed, however the position hours/days are: Friday, Saturday nights 5-10 and Sundays 11-5.

There is ability to pick up day shifts if interested. We are also known for our special events and tasting menus, so additional days may be needed. For the right person this could turn into a full manager permeant, salaried position after 6 months.

The Role:

Below are the duties expected in the position:

Serving food and drinks to customers promptly
Clearing and setting tables
Ensuring tables and all areas are wiped down and clean at all times
Cleaning all other areas where customers visit ie; toilets etc
Communication with Chef and Kitchen staff for flow of tickets
Taking inventory and order placing with chef
Ringing all sales into POS system and charging tickets.
Able to speak eloquently and confidentially up sell

You will be working hand in hand with the chef, therefore comfortable around a kitchen as well is ideal. pay is £11-15 based on experience and includes a service fee

text the chef.

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour
