An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated person to support the admin teams within the Medicine Directorate as an assistant Medical Secretary.

The successful post holder will provide administrative support across the Division.

We are looking for someone who is highly reliable and organised. As a team we work closely supporting one another and also have opportunities to work independently. The post holder will be required to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the service.

Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential.

15 Hours per week


he purpose of this job is to provide support to the Medical Secretaries, Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists within the Division.

The role involves supporting the Medical Secretaries and clinical team, typing clinical correspondence to adhere to standard turnaround times.

The role is initially based in the Rheumatology and Geriatric/Osteoporosis departments but there may need to be flexibility in working through the Division as service needs require.
