Monday 25 March 2024**The Royal College of General Practitioners is the largest membership organisation solely for GPs in the United Kingdom.

Founded in 1952, it has over 55,000 members who are committed to improving patient care, developing their own skills and promoting general practice as a discipline.

General practice is the largest branch of the medical profession.

It provides some 1 million consultations for patients in the UK every working day and deals with 86% of the health problems experienced by the UK population.


You will support the governance of the College's work in GP training and registration, particularly forward planning, and setting up and formal minuting of the Specialty Training Board and Specialty Advisory Committee meetings.

In addition, you will support the smooth running of daily processes related to GP registration and act as the query and communication lead for the department.

Project related work will include supporting the College's Quality Assurance activity.


Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and will work well in both team and self-directed environments.

Attention to detail, prioritisation and a methodical approach are key attributes required for this role.
