Highcroft Exotics Vets, in Whitchurch Bristol, are expanding

We are thrilled to be able to offer a full time exotic species nurse position, within our referral level exotic species service (40hrs).

We have a large, varied case load which includes zoological collections, falconry centres, and aquatic species (including aquariums) as well as the more commonly seen non-traditional companion animals.

Successful applicants will be working alongside RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioners in Zoological Medicine, WAVMA Certified Aquatic Species Vets as well as exotic species certificated nurses.

Highcroft Exotic Vets have access to state of the art facilities and equipment, including Endoscopy, CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasonography and an exotic species only ward, theatre and procedural space.

We are passionate to develop our nurse's skills, actively encouraging the undertaking of certificates and the development of schedule 3 skills.

At times there will be an expectation to work alongside the first opinion cat and dog team, which include a large team of certificate holding vets and nurses.

Hours:
Full time (40hrs), part time considered


Salary:
up to £32,000 (depending on experience)

1:6 weekends (exotic species, cats and dogs) as well as two bank holidays a year
