One of the worlds leading manufacturers of industrial chains, gearboxes and couplings is looking to expand their team with a
Senior Infrastructure Analyst.


Reporting to the Group Head Of IT, the Senior Infrastructure Analyst (SIA) will work alongside an infrastructure analyst providing 3rd Line IT support to the large international user base.

The SIA will play a key role in leading/assisting on projects and designing standards that will be delivered globally.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Provide 3rdline support to the infrastructure environment.
  • Assist in the design and development of IT standards and work with our colleagues to deploy them globally.
  • Provide coaching & support to IT colleagues and act as a point of escalation.
  • Continually work with the team to improve our knowledge base/documentation of IT services
  • Lead key IT infrastructurerelated projects
  • Support business systems teams in ensuring the IT platform can support business requirement

It is essential that the person fulfilling this role has/is:

  • Windows Server
  • creating images, managing backups, and configuring new servers.
  • Creating MDT images for desktop O/S
  • Highly skilled in designing, managing and deploying LAN/WAN/WLAN
  • Working with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy VPN
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in the above areas & experience in engaging/escalating with suppliers when necessary
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and experience leading projects to deliver large site/infrastructure upgrades/refreshes
  • Experience or using monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds and PRTG
  • Excellent communication skills with internal customers, IT colleagues/suppliers & partners
  • Support & deployment of Cisco network equipment
  • Knowledge of CrowdStrike Endpoint and Identity Protect
  • VMWare ESXi
  • Knowledge of managing SQL servers including some DBA skills
  • Application deployment solutions, MDT
  • MDM software such as Intune and Windows Autopilot
  • Experience working with VOIP systems
