A Bit About Us
GDM Manufacturing Ltd is a leading manufacturer of electrical heating elements and temperature sensors. As the manufacturing arm of Gary Duncan Merchanting Ltd we supply the plastics industry across the UK & Ireland.
Founded over 40 years ago, the company has progressively grown including establishing its own dedicated Manufacturing site here at Stoke Lacy back in 1999.
What We're Looking For
This is full time position with contracted 40 hours per week (8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, with an early 2pm finish every Friday).
The salary for this position is initially based on experience and performance.
However, we do like to acknowledge the hard work of our staff, therefore salaries are reviewed on an annual basis.
What We Need From You
Although the work is often varied, the day-to-day task will usually include:
- The use of various hand tools & fabrication equipment
- Working with detailed drawings
- Marking, spot welding & winding heating elements
- Electrical wiring & testing
- Cutting & making up cable assemblies
