An opportunity has arisen for a Parts Controller to join our team at Access Mechanical Handling Ltd, based at our branch in Bellshill.
Reporting to the Service Manager this role will be to manage day to day running of a small parts department and ensure parts are identified and ordered to support 10 field service engineers.
The Role:
- Oversee day to day running of parts department
- Parts identification using manufacturers online systems, parts manuals & liaising with engineers
- Ordering of parts from various suppliers
- Booking in/out parts/consumables
- Raising purchase orders and logging against stock/jobs
- Stock taking & control of stock levels
- Completing estimates from engineers reports
- Supporting Service desk with enquiries
- Ensuring VOR parts are ordered same day to support service departmentSkills:
- Essential to have previous experience in parts administration
- Have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Microsoft Excel and Word skills to an intermediate standard
- 2 or 3 years minimum experience working with a mechanical background is essential i.e. commercial or motortrade. Plant or forklift experience preferred.
- Parts environment 2/3 years
Pay:
£29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
