AMS Trenchless Solutions is a contracting business specialising in Horizontal Directional Drilling and Guided Auger Bore solutions and we are currently looking to expand our team.

The company operate the largest fleet of HDD rigs in the UK and carry out works for all of the major companies operating in the construction and utilities sector.

The Position
We are currently recruiting an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team.


The Duties

• Service and maintain fleet of drilling rigs
• Service and maintain all ancillary equipment including pump houses, hydraulic systems and general plant
• Carry out inspections on all plant
• Liaise with site staff and management regarding project requirements
• Extensive travel throughout the UK to project sites to repair machinery
• Management of computer based maintenance record system
• Fault finding mechanical problems and offer solutions to overcome
• Record works carried out on company job cards and service reports

The Package
Competitive pay, dependent on knowledge and experience

Overtime available

20 days paid holiday, plus bank and public holidays

Your normal hours of work will be Monday to Friday 07.30 to 16.30, plus overtime and standby duties as required
