iSupply Group are currently recruiting for a Regional Transport Planner for a well known supermarket retailer based in Lutterworth. This will be a temporary on-going role with no specific end date at the moment.

You will be required to work any 5 from 7, 0600 start. This will be a 40 hour week including breaks.

Salary - £30,000 per year (Paid Weekly)

Job Role:

The role of a Regional Transport Planner will be to maximise efficiency, service, and compliance by managing the day-to-day plans for Store Deliveries

You'll be responsible for:

Planning of HGV Class 1 vehicles/routes
Store Deliveries routing, scheduling, and execution.
Recording daily, weekly, monthly, and annual statistical information to aid planning and implementation.
Reviewing and continuously improving plans to improve efficiency.
Providing accurate and effective information to Stores regarding the plan, including feedback channels to aid engagement.
Coaching and influencing depot teams to maximise service and efficiency and ensure delivery of all commercial targets.

Requirements for the role:

Experience working within a Transport environment with full use of transport planning tools.
You will need to be flexible and adaptable to allow you to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
You will need to be organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills as the role will require you to network with colleagues from all areas of the business.
You will need to be fully conversant in Excel and Microsoft outlook.

Salary:
£30,000.00 per year
