Salary:
£ 50,000 - £ 60,000 p.a. (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits inc. Company Equity + Pension + Annual Leave
The Role
Aqualiner is developing a next generation of fully process controlled equipment capable of producing liners in water companies live infrastructure.
They are enjoying an incredibly exciting phase in the development of their products and are now seeking anexperienced Control System Design Engineer.
Aqualiner's mission is to create the global solution for renewing aged drinking water pipes, this is patented technology and has unique regulatory approval for drinking water in the UK.
The business has been trading for fifteen years with a high-profile presence in the water industry and hugely pertinent offering to the challenges of climate change and provision of safe and clean water supply.
Working from the Loughborough HQ, you will support the development of an electrical power control system, an air flow control system and a rotary drum deployment and retrieval system.
Full integration of these systems into the completed hardware and testingwill also be required
The role is a hands-on position supporting the sourcing and introduction of the requisite electrical, electronic and controls design, its associated integration within the product and the required quality control of subcontract components and service providersto the project.
You will ideally possess a recognised background in electronic/electrical design including power control, control systems architecture, real time microcontroller development and Sensor/Servo motor controls.
You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and in a relevant discipline such as electronic/electronic engineering and possess a keen passion for innovative solution creation.
