The organisation provides legislative and Health & Safety advice to an impressive Portfolio of clients throughout the UK.

As such you will be responsible for leading a team of consultants with a focus on resource planning, from managing workloads to recruitment,monitor all operational KPIs & SLA's through to ensuring compliance to H&S legislation and ISO accreditation standards.


Further scope of duties includes:

  • Manage team resources through effectively planning and allocating workloads; managing absence and staff turnover; recruitment and succession planning.
  • Drive and deliver a handson culture of excellence within the department, remaining close to the detail in every aspect of consultancy operations.
  • Full budget responsibility for the department ensuring the department is run commercially, manage a program of cost savings through optimisation of systems, people, and technology.
  • Report on and review all service & operational based metrics to the board on a weekly basis, identifying issues at source quickly and rectifying them.
  • Deliver a continuous improvement culture, consistently reviewing the department from a technical, customer service and commercial.
  • To support the continuing accreditation and certification of ISO standards.
  • Manage internal & external Health & Safety compliance.


Our client seeks to recruit an experienced Head of Operations/ Operations Manager with experience gained within the Facilities Management sector, PME, BMS or Building services market with an understating of Health and Safety legislation.
