My client is a Global organisation who are looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst to take on a key role to help shape and drive the business operations whilst they go through significant growth.

You will work closely with the COO on the roap map, shapingthe finance function, helping to manage costs, forecast revenue and build a heightened insight and understanding into the competitive marketplace.


Duties:


  • Work alongside teams in finance and business & project planning
  • Take full responsibility for the monthly management accounts
  • Accurately track project spend (actual) against forecast and identify variance
  • Assist COO in producing a detailed 5year budget
  • Assist COO in the assembly, analysis and assessment of the products P&L
  • Work with key stakeholders production, sales forecasting, commercial analysis, business/product planning and marketing
  • Secure the funding required to support the mid to long term development goals
  • Financial administration raising PO's, liaising with external accounts and contractors
  • Collaborate with the marketing function to help inform tactical and strategic marketing decisions
  • Adhoc analysis of various KPIs across the business

Skills required:

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial finance analytics/planning role.
  • Experience in forecasting and planning
  • Understanding of the ongoing variance analysis of the actuals vs. budget plan and forecasts
  • Ability to analyse the market and communicate insights and trends to leadership
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Accomplished user of excel
  • Highly numerate and a good communicator
  • Motivated selfstarter
  • Full/part qualified/QBE in CIMA/ACCA equivalent
