As an Applications Software Engineering Intern, you will be directly involved in creating and developing tools and methods to improve internal engineering processes.
Your contribution would include:
- Liaising with experienced engineers to understand existing processes and calculations.
- Suggest and implement changes to allow faster processing of daily tasks.
- Maintain working access to SQL database for information storage.
- Working to continuously improve departmental tools, methods, processes, and documents.
Qualifications What distinguishes you?**- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar, with a predicted grade of 2:1 or above.
- Significant experience in programming with MATLAB.
- Keen interest to create software solutions for mechanical engineering problems.
- Experience with software engineering, coding SQL, and Github.
- Desire to develop further understanding of software languages.
- Strong grades in both mechanics and mathematics.
- Enjoys problem solving and researching solutions for challenging problems.
