ROLE SUMMARY:


  • The Education Operations Team works closely with all other areas of the business, to stay up to date with policies and procedures and to achieve a high firsttime resolution rate for the customer, so they do not need to make repeat contact. Ensuring highquality service and resolution will be a key part of the remit for this role.
  • The role will oversee a team of individuals responsible for administrative, timetable and technical functions.
  • You will need to develop and have a sound knowledge of all areas of the business and systems used within Operations. Your role will also be to support the administration team and give feedback and analyse MI to spot trends and areas for improvement. You will work closely with the management team in the school to initiate change where needed.
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the School Setup team ensuring all team members are fully engaged and performing to the best of their abilities
  • Proactively planning and coordinating the administrative and operational aspects of school programmes, including resource allocation, scheduling, and compliance with the school's educational standards
  • Work closely with the Customer Services, Heads of Key Stages, Heads of Year, Head of Timetabling, IT, and other departments, across the business, to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for school setup activities, ensuring consistency and highquality outcomes across all initiatives
  • Monitor project timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet key milestones and targets
  • Effectively handling any complaints associated with your team's function, ensuring to manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure a timely and effective resolution
  • Identify potential risks and issues in the setup process, developing contingency plans to mitigate impact
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to suggest and implement enhancements to setup processes
  • Focus on delivering excellent customer service and technical knowledge
  • Ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed by the team

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational or operational environment
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with online education platforms and technologies is highly desirable
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Effective team leadership skills, including the ability to differentiate your leadership approach to meet the needs of the team
  • Ability to motivate teams and lead by example

  • Systems knowledge particularly iSAMS/Dynamics/Canvas
  • Highly effective computer/technical abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and individually
  • Experience of working with timetables, particularly in ensuring effective distribution of students
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and find creative solutions with lasting benefits
